The Necklace.

The Necklace
by Guy de Maupassant

Mme. Loisel was a very pretty girl that people thought belonged to a family of clerks.  Yet, she married a man who was a clerk himself at the Ministry of Public Instruction.  She was a very simple woman because she didn't have enough money to dress all fancy.  One day, her husband brought home an envelope, inviting her to to a ball.  She wasn't very excited about this even, rather, she was worried about what to wear for she had no beautiful gown that she owns or any jewelries.  Then, her husband suggested the dress she had worn in the theater.

Now, her only problem is the jewelries she would use.  Again, her husband has suggested that she borrows from Mme. In this story,  it shows us that we should always be
honest and responsible for not only
our belongings but for others stuff too.
I think this story was very exciting, and
I was always wondering what would happen.
It has also taught me that if we keep those little things to other people,
we might just end up
spending twice as much just like Mme. Loisel.
